Your oral health is Dr. Hermina’s number-one priority. Since 2009, she has been instrumental in helping more Midtown Toronto residents find their smiles at Art of Smile Dentistry.

Dr. Battaglin

Dr Battaglin has been practicing dentistry in Toronto since 2005 and has owned and operated Art of Smile Dentistry for the last 10 years.

Dr Battaglin completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the university of Toronto where she graduated with distinction and was placed on the Dean’s Honour List.

She is an active member of the

  • Canadian dental Association
  • Ontario dental association
  • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario

She devotes many days each year to continuing her education through seminars, study clubs and conferences in order to remain aware and knowledgeable about the latest changes and techniques in dentistry.

She has certificates/accreditation in Invisalign® in Toronto, NV Microlaser therapy, Nitrous oxide sedation, and Zoom teeth whitening.

Dr Battaglin loves all aspects of dentistry, but especially those that really change a patients life, particularly:

  • Veneers
  • Implants
  • Crown & Bridge
  • Dentures

She is passionate about her work and her patients, valuing communication in order to help patients make informed decisions about their health. She has a warm, caring and gentle personality, which puts children and anxious patients at ease. She is personable, takes a genuine interest in every patient, and is always ready to go the extra mile. She provides full-service family dentistry for patients of all ages with a patient centred approach and understands the importance of open communication.

When she’s not practising dentistry, Dr Battaglin likes to travel, read a good book, cook, and spend time with her husband and 2 children.  She enjoys fitness such as barre, spinning, tennis, hiking.

Meet Dr. Johnson

Dr Johnson has been practicing dentistry in Toronto since 2014.

Dr Johnson completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Western University where she graduated with distinction and was placed on the Dean’s Honour List.

She is an active member of the

  • Ontario dental association
  • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario

She allocates significant time to continue her education through seminars, study clubs and conferences in order to remain aware and knowledgeable about the latest changes and techniques in dentistry.

She has certificates/accreditation in

  • Standard Proficiency Certification in Laser Dentistry
  • Nitrous Oxide and Oral Conscious sedation
  • Cerec Basic Training
  • Paediatric Dentistry (she was 1 of 4 students selected for the paediatric summer program while in dental school)

Dr Johnson loves all aspects of dentistry, particularly:

  • Root canals
  • Implants
  • Veneers
  • Direct esthetic bonding (i.e. chairside cosmetic fillings)
  • Tongue-tie releases
  • Basic procedures like fillings and crowns

She is dedicated to her patients and her work.  She is gentle with a needle and, likes to talk to patients through a procedure with an easy conversational style.  Dr. Johnson ensures communication is easy to understand order to help patients make informed decisions about their health.

In her free time, Dr. Nicole is an avid karaoke singer and enjoys playing billiards. She married her husband in August 2018 at The Old Mill in Toronto (where she serenaded him with Cream’s “Sunshine Of Your Love!”). She has a beagle named Indie and … two tarantulas! Dr. Nicole grew up in Arizona but now loves living in Toronto, a beautiful City that has become her home.
